Teachers: Plan a unique field trip for your class that combines education with outdoor fun! Take a walk in the
Finger Lakes National Park and explore a multitude of scientific fields including geology, ecology, botany, and history.
Divide the students into smaller focus groups and explore the mathematics of a hedge maze or simply let them loose to use
their own minds, muscles and imaginations in free play. Group yoga class, hula hooping, obstacle courses, and
building forts are just a few of the exciting and engaging outdoor activites we offer. Discuss your objectives
with us and we'll gladly help you provide your class with a rich unforgettable experience.

Come visit Amaze'ing Acres for a few hours, a whole day, or an entire weekend. A few short years ago locals could be heard saying, "Hector is the best kept secret of the Finger Lakes." Although it's no longer a secret, it remains one of the best locations in the Finger Lakes region. You may find yourself wishing to stop time while you take in the beautiful scenery, hear the birds sing, smell fresh country air, eat locally grown produce and drink award winning wine. Here you can be in the middle of nowhere and central to everywhere at the same time.
Celebrations & Fundraisers
Looking for simplicity...a more natural, rustic, open setting with room to roam off the beaten path? Consider having your birthday party, wedding, or school fundraiser event here. We are very near South Seneca, Trumansburg and Watkins Glen school systems. Your Spring or Fall class project fundraiser might feature a haunted maze or building something unique and raffling it off or horse drawn carriage rides through the Finger Lakes National Forest.
Day retreats for cohesive team building can be designed for your particular needs to foster mutual respect, trust and appreciation for that which each person brings to the company or department as well as offer employees a chance to relax, unwind and get to know one another. Have your staff party at Amaze'ing Acres for the whole family showing that you value and care about them as people and recognize that 'all work and no play' does not create balance in our lives. Inquire about the numerous activities available such as horse shoes, yard games, obstacle course design, yoga, outdoor stress reduction workshop or your own ideas. Small groups may arrange overnight or weekend camping events. The lightning bug/firefly show in late June or early July is nothing short of awesome! Let your children show you what they learned in Primitive Pursuits camp!
